The Alliance aims to coordinate system processes and resources across the region, monitor emerging trends and changes, advocate for system improvements, provide opportunities for professional development, and facilitate connections between professionals.

The Alliance supports collaborative coordination across a number of funded Family Support Programs.

The Alliance supports professional development for practitioners through a number of initiatives: Monthly lunchtime information sessions, regular networking events & free or subsidised training on specific topics.

The Alliance annually hosts a number of free or subsidised events for community service professionals in the Goulburn Valley.
